We have so many dilemma in life. Whether to wear this or that. Whether to smile or just facing the floor while walking. Whether to study or to watch movie (or blogging ¯\_(ツ)_/¯). Whether to eat or maybe lose some weight.

Speaking of which..

Our biggest dilemma wasn't really about the most complicated things in this world; like career or who's gonna be your husband.

Really. The simplest yet the hardest everyday basic question is "Where to eat?!".

God, I really hate this when they asked me. Simply because I can't answer. I just can't. I cannot decide where to eat. But thank God at least I can decide what to eat (though it takes some time too but it's not as bad as deciding where to eat).

So typical us.. Our daily drama marathon is basically about this one dilemma. It's getting nonsense yet funnier as year goes by. Seriously...when will I learn to decide things ASAP? The fact that this 'disease' was carried by me and my friends got infected by it. Pity them for befriend with a person like me. ╮(╯▽╰)╭

So this weekend's drama featuring us of just going to any place we can think of without actually planning ahead. Crazy as we can be, at one point we found one cafe that at first we thought we wanted to go (but plan changed), so my friend did a sudden U-turn (at a rightful place to make a U-turn, along with me encouraging haha). We already inside the cafe, holding the menu. But then we left, because one of us cannot stand the smell of coffee while the rest are coffee lovers, so we had to consider her taste bud too.

But in the end of the drama, after checking out three different cafes, we finally decided on this one cafe (which the coffee smell was much stronger than the previous one), but to avoid the smell, we picked a table outside the cafe. And yes, to add on, this cafe serves more choice so I think it's the best choice (at least for today) for us.

So, here you go... A nice cafe, with a nice coffee smell, and friendly staff who still recognize my face as I just went there last week hahah. I love their coffee too

It's very near to its end.

Yes, Ramadhan.

Lil regrets of not fulfilling this year's Ramadhan with beneficial activities. However, I must say that having professional examination during this holy month was really a memory that I wouldn't forget.

First of all, staying up late at nights and having to wake up earlier for sahoor, right after Suboh directly started studying. I was grateful, because all of my efforts was blessed by the power of du'a especially in the month of full barakah.

I was literally tortured. Mentally abused. By books. Memorization. Heck I became a coffee-phobia despite the fact I was a coffee-lover. I didn't want to blame the coffee, it was rather due to the faults in myself. But yeah, the exams-week wasn't one healthy week. And I'm gonna be forever not liking those kind of weeks.

And today, was the day when our full results were announced. I was at home. Like finally. At first we didn't want to go for the viva yesterday, but mothers know best. And my friends kept telling me it was a good opportunity and Alhamdulillah, praises to Allah. It was definitely a good decision (for someone who was indecisive like me, heck it was a good shot alhamdulillah).


Alhamdulillah again and again, I passed all subjects. Even Pathology, the most stressful and due to lack of sleep (guess why T^T) I couldn't focus and till the very end of exam time, I was still trying to focus on the things that I had read. It was a disastrous one but alhamdulillah Allah helped me in so many ways, maybe I never even realize. And also the prayers from my parents, my family members, my friends, endless and countless du'a that they asked from Allah for me, and my friends. So people, never underestimate the power of du'a.

And our dearest lecturers, who put their efforts in teaching us, and giving us supports till this moment. I'm gonna treasure all of you as my teachers that I will always look up to. Jazakumullahi khairan kathiran. Especially our conservative lecturers, who helped us much in preparing ourselves for upcoming clinical years. Who shed tears along with us, when some had difficulties. We were grateful to have each of you

But though I felt relieved, some still need to continue the battle. To those certain people in our batch, Eximius, we will always pray for you guys. I really want all of us to enter the very first clinical year together. This one test shall pass, like the other tests. But remain calm and never give up. Allah is with you and with us. Keep on fighting!

This was written like a month before and I don't even remember writing this. Aiyoo~

Since we're getting nearer with the second Pro ExaminationI really want to emphasize on how we should deal with our stress.

First of all, as Dr. Ghassak, one of our Pathology lecturer, had said that, plan your time wisely. Don' t just randomly study without planning what to study for the day. You'll get messed up. Yeah sure some did survived the first pro with that method but don't you want to at least upgrade a bit of your study habit into a more effective one? Afterall, a muslim should always be better than before. Tomorrow should be better than today.

Secondly is, to abide by the plan. Here, well, some of us (including me) may end up with failure of keeping in track with the planned plan. We were too busy with getting enough sleep when the ideal one was to get a quality sleep rather than having a loooong unproductive sleep. So, instead of wasting with sleeping, we should really sacrifice some of those comfort zone just to not regret later.

Thirdly, of course. Get into discussion with your friends, especially the one who knows all. You actually might get benefits and learn something new.

Forth, and I think the most important thing is..  To always pray. Pray to Allah so that you will understand what you have learnt. Pray to Allah so that you'll somewhat got the hints for the exam. Pray to Allah that you'll pass this together with your batchmates.

Last but not least, ask from your parents to pray for you. What else is there other than our mother's prayer whom Allah will answer it if that's the best for us.

I'm not that good in my studies so I just share what I want to share. Some may beneficial to some others right...

Last Monday night, we went to a talk by the author of Tarbiyah Sentap, just to get 'hit' directly into our hearts. Alhamdulillah it was something very beneficial and I would like to share some points. May Allah bless us all inshaAllah.

Finally, after wasting my time with mangas and all those stuff that wouldn't really help me expand my knowledge, I've decided to update my blog! Aherher.

Yes, I've ran away from books since I'm at home, and not to mention this is the only long holiday in a year that I will have. And to think I'll be facing this kind of torment over and over again. Face it dude, this is the price that you must pay.

Well, put that aside. It's not that I don't have any vacation at all. Heho.

Alhamdulillah. I passed all papers. Anatomy, Oral Biology, Biochemistry and Physiology. It was tougher, and harder than SPM. If I can sum up my first year of being a freshman, it was fun (aside from examinations). Exams almost kill me, like seriously o(╥﹏╥)o 
At one time, I even barely walk or even stand straight. I almost faint due to loads of topics to be memorized. No, I'm not scaring any of my juniors, but maybe due to the fact that we have to memorize all topics from the 1st block until the 4th block. It felt like I had compressed my brain and the pressure start to resorb my neurones. Oh dear, sorry I was exaggerating a bit but the whole point is there, it's a torment.

But because we have faith in Allah, and because we don't lie on our efforts blindly, and we pray and pray and keep praying because success is a gift from Allah. You won't get them by yourself. Remember this, and start learning by heart. I hope I'll take my own advice on this. Yep, you have to. You must and you need it.

The viva also... how should I say about it. well, to be honest, I don't really prepare (I mean I don't really revise again before viva I just review some things and rely on my brain of what I've learnt during the exam week) so there you go. You deserve only this. So yeah, I know my own capacity right now. And the fact I was too nervous having to face one on one with our lecturers plus external examiner. I really don't wanna go but my parents told me just go and have some experience. But don't hope too much. Haha. Yep, they said that because they don't want me to be stressed out too much. They know how I am when I'm stressed. And I don't really like that part of me.

To sum up (again), a dental student isn't that carefree but I think I'm going to have a better future. Well, I pray for it. You should too :) Guess I have to prepare mentally and physically for next year since a lot of stuff to be handled and the number of subject like woooshh bam! SEVEN. If I'm not mistaken. Gaaaaaahhh stress already! ・゜・(ノД`)

But anyway, since we already knew how to survive this harsh world inshaAllah ALL IS WELL. Ah, to my juniors, whoever you are... be strong. That's all. Ahahahaha.

Updating status: currently busy with drama and non-academic related activities.

This is one of the surprises when you enter Kuliyyah of Dentistry; you'll forget the fact that you're a dental student temporarily. 

Why? I think the kuliyyah itself is preparing the students to be not so nerdy and start to develop social skills since we're going to work with human after all. It just past a week after our 1st end block examination, and we regretted as we did not study earlier but ended up doing the same thing over again *facepalm*

I'm not even sure if I can manage my time for 2nd block...and yes, another drama competition is coming like in a month. And the drama for Interaction Day will be performed on this Wednesday, yeay~~ ヽ(￣(ｴ)￣)ﾉ *tiresome expression*

But I really did enjoy the whole process of practicing but at the same time of course, won't stop mumbling and babbling about this and that. I even start to pour out everything I usually monologue or speak to myself. I think everyone else can hear what I'm thinking. Sigh~ *this...another facepalm*

I even think that my batch started to know the real me. NO, I'm not FAKE. It's just I was being an alien the whole time in front of other people, I mean awkward. Okay, that's the right term I guess. I was being too conservative (is this a right word to use?) Okay, whatever it is.. I'm glad I can show my true colors. Haha. The dorky me. Mih~

Also, tomorrow, we'll start to carve the wax to make teeth. uuuuuuuu..... (☉ε　⊙ﾉ)ﾉ
I don't know what kind of experience is awaiting for me ahead, but I guess I'll keep working until I'll carve the almost perfect teeth (maybe after I have some emotional, mental breakdown session, stress, depression, strangle other people) Okay, maybe not. Just hope that Allah will make it easier for us.

Just short update.

Because I was too tired giving out all of my energy to cheer for our members.
And this was the first time in my life, became a member of Yellow house which was not a color that I prefer. But I learnt to like the color though :)

Interaction day was like sports' day and sort of family day. Well, for a reason of course; bonding the juniors and seniors. Oh yes, I do get to know a few and met my ex-senior from Seseri. This world is not that big right? Hee~

There were many events conducted such as Gelung War, Musical Chair, Bowling Kelapa, Fear Factor, Dodgeball and etc.. I ate raw belacan, raw onion, tomato, kacang botol, peria for 'Fear Factor'. What have I done to my stomach?! *facepalm*
Not to mention that I smell like belacan for the whole day. Puasa belacan for a month I guess. Haha.

Buka mata, nampak buku.

Itu rutin harian kat IIUM Kuantan. Bukan nak emphasize kerajinan, tapi more to "keterpaksaan" untuk jadikan diri ini lebih rajin.

I didn't see this was going to come.

Rasa susah. Baru first block. Dah kata susah? Mungkin ini bunyi macam exaggration. Mungkin juga sebab diri sendiri belum fully adapted nak cope dengan studies and everything else. Mungkin juga..aku dah banyak sangat lagha dengan dunia.

and right now...

End block exam for Block 1.

Masa lecture tak adalah rasa susah mana. Tak rasa beban sangat.
Nah, sekarang baru terasa.

Mental breakdown and you name me all those sad and depressing emotions that you know. Well, tak adalah sampai tahap meraung menggila macam dah tak siuman. It just that...rasa doubtful datang balik.

Can I do this?

Am I really going to reach until the end of this road?

How far can I go?

At this kind of moment, I need a self reflection.
Sejauh mana aku bergantung dengan Allah? Sejauh mana aku letakkan usaha aku untuk jihad menuntut ilmu sebagai jalan meraih redha Allah? Apa niat aku betul selama ini? Atau mungkin sekali lagi dunia berjaya kaburkan mata hati aku?

Allah.

Aku percaya ilmu itu semua datang daripadaMu dan hanyalah milikMu.

and I keep saying this to myself.

"It's gonna be tougher. Yes, I know. But we have Allah by our side who can make it easier for us. So, never ever give up. I believe in myself. I believe in Allah."

What's with the number?
Well, that's my new student's matric number. So yeah.. I'm officially a dental student.

Yes, I feel excited. （≧▼≦；)   But at the same time, feeling too nervous. o(≧o≦)o

You probably know how it feels.. or maybe not.

It just these kinds of mixing thoughts keep bugging my head that I sometimes feel confident, and later will be drowned in questions like; "Am I seriously doing this?", "What was I thinking?", "What am I doing here?". Those kind of thoughts.

Allah, may you protect me from those syaitan.

Please, don't bother me! （＞д＜）

Calming down for 5 seconds...

Oh, and my first impression on Kuantan. Well, unlike Gombak. It seems quieter? I mean our Kuliyyah building is very modern and beautiful, the only best thing I can point out right now.
But, the mahallah... I guess Gombak's was waaaayy better than Kuantan's. But, still... the bed is nice and it's not upstairs (I mean the double-decker one). So I don't have to climb up just to sleep.

Ah, my room is on level 3. The scenery is pretty much relieving. There's a jungle behind my mahallah. So, when I wake up, I can see the green trees through my window. Subhanallah~ Good for my eyes. teehee~

A new mahallah still under construction, and maybe next year we're gonna move there. It is that high, on top of a hill. Even right now, our mahallah is kinda far from our kuliyyah. Sigh (━┳━ _ ━┳━)  But oh well, you'll get the chance to exercise without even realising it. Ahha!

Taaruf week or maybe some call it orientation week just ended yesterday. Thank God. Despite the fact I hate to not getting any free time just to take the bath, overall was okay. The festival night was jjang, and I can feel the spirit of our batch too. Yes, I did went a lil bit over-excited that night. But oh well, it's not like I'll have another opportunity like that after this right? So, yeah.. I enjoyed the night and fell into a deep sleep.

We're gonna start our class next week, but having a different timetables for each week is sort of a ... I don't know whether it's good or bad. But at least, we won't be bored I guess. A different routine for everyday won't make you bored right?

Just one thing. Sadly to say. Our vacation is only like 1 month and 2 weeks for the whole year. Yes, people. The longest is for a month. Right before we start our 2nd year. Ottoke??? I already plan a vacation with my friend. Please, ya Allah please make it happen. Only You are the best planner!

I pray for things to be easier for us, and hope that this profession is the right one for me. If it can't be the right one, I'll make myself be the right one for this course.
